A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
• BEACH, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING THE DUTIES OF THE VILLAGE GOLF ADVISORY
BOARD; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the enactment of Ordinance 2007-20, the Village Council dissolved the Country
Club Advisory Boazd and established a new Golf Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, Section 9-19 of the Village Code of Ordinances provides that the duties of the Golf
Advisory Boazd shall be established by resolution of the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to formally establish the duties of the Golf Advisory Board and
determines that the adoption ofthis Resolution is in the best interests ofhe Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The primary duty of the Golf Advisory Board shall be to support and effectuate the
following Mission Statement:
The Village of North Palm Beach Municipal Golf Course will provide an outstanding golf
experience at an affordable price through superior customer service, high quality playing
conditions, and a wide variety ofgolf support services tailored to members, residents, and guests.
• Section 3. The Golf Advisory Boazd shall support the established Mission Statement by
administering, reviewing and interpreting the Golf Course rules, regulations, policies and procedures,
which shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas:
1. Member and resident comments and concerns;
2. Course procedures relating to starting times;
3. "Shotgun" events;
4. Tournament scheduling;
5. Chazitable outings; and
6. Special member events
7. Course and facilities condition.
In addition to the foregoing, the Golf Advisory Board shall have such other duties as may be assigned by the
Village Council
Section 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith aze hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.

Section 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
