NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED LARGE-SCALE
TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The Planning Commission, acting as the Local Planning Agency will conduct a public hearing on the
following item:
THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, PROPOSES TO ADOPT
AMENDMENT NO 09-01 TO THE VILLAGE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUES, RELATING TO ITS
EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORT AND ITS TEN-YEAR WATER SUPPLY
FACILITIES WORK PLAN AND TO UPDATE ITS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
ELEMENT TO INCORPORATE NEW REQUIREMENTS; AMENDING THE LAND USE
ELEMENT, TRAFFIC CIRCULATION ELEMENT, HOUSING ELEMENT,
INFRASTRUCTURE ELEMENT, COASTAL MANAGEMENT ELEMENT,
CONSERVATION ELEMENT, RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE ELEMENT,
INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATION ELEMENT, CAPTIAL IMPROVEMENTS
ELEMENT, AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS CONCURRENCY ELEMENT; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PROPOSES.
The Planning Commission will conduct the public hearing on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 6:30 p.m., or
as soon thereafter as this item may be heard, at North Palm Beach Village Hall, 501 U.S. Highway
One, North Palm Beach, Florida 33408.
A copy of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to be considered at said hearing is on file in the
Village Clerk's Office and may reviewed by the Public during regular business hours. All members of
the Public are invited to attend this public hearing and comments may be mailed or delivered in
person to the Village Clerk until 1:00 P.M. the day of the Public Hearing.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at the subject
meeting he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which shall
include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 289.0105). In
accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person who may require special
accommodation to participate in this meting should contact the Village Clerk's office at 841-3355 at
least 72 hours prior to the Meeting date.
