The attached Village Council budget workshop summary as of 7/30/91
represents the North Palm Beach Village Council's workshop session
"'~' discussing General Fund Revenues and Expenditures for FY 91-92 in
summary. In addition, Village Council addressed setting the
tentative millage rate. Mayor Gardner convened the meeting at 7:00
p.m. All Council members were present. In addition, the Village
Manager and Finance Director were present.
The attached summary sheet is made a part of this memorandum by
reference hereto. Said attached summary sheet is titled: "Village
of North Palm Beach, Village Council Budget Workshop, Budget 1991-
92, Summary as of 7/30/91."
Council agreed to reduce the recommended Utility Tax from 7$ to 6~
(line item A0400-00100). Also, the tentative millage rate was
established at 4.36 mills. This represents an increase of .16
mills from the current rate of 4.20 mills. It was established that
the rollback rate for Ad Valorem Property Tax is 4.098. Council
was advised of the budget hearings to be held in September and that
dates would be submitted back to them when the Certification of
Taxable Value is distributed.
There being no further business to come before the Council they
adjourned, completing the General Fund budget at approximately
10:00 p.m.
