ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MILEAGE RATE Consider a motion to approve second reading of Bill 1185, a proposed ordinance establishing and adopting the ad valorem tax millage rate for the 2005 tax year. Discussion by Council or public shall be withheld until Public Hearing. 3. ORDINANCE ADOPTING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 Consider a motion to approve second reading of Bill 1186, a proposed ordinance adopting Budgets for fiscal year 2005-2006. Discussion by Council or public shall be withheld until Public Hearing. 4. PUBLIC HEARING ON AD VALOREM TAX ORDINANCE AND BUDGET ORDINANCE a. Statement of percentage increase in millage over the rolled-back rate b. Administration presentation of the proposed budget highlights, tentative millage rate, and Council's consensus budget adjustment c. Public comment on proposed tax and proposed budget d. Council consideration and discussion of budget amendments; decision to amend or maintain tentative ad valorem tax millage rate e. Motion to amend tentative ad valorem tax millage rate and vote on second reading of Bill 1185, a proposed ordinance establishing and adopting the ad valorem tax millage rate for the 2005 tax year; motion to enact Bill 1185 as Ordinance 19-2005 f. Motion to approve amendments to the Budget for fiscal year 2005-2006 and vote on second reading of Bill 1186 a proposed ordinance adopting Budgets for fiscal year 2005-2006; motion to enact Bill 1186 as Ordinance 20-2005 5. PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED 6. RESOLUTION ADOPTING COMPREHENSIVE PAY AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN Consider a motion to adopt Resolution 81-2005, adopting the comprehensive pay and classification plan for FY 2005-2006 7. ADJOURNMENT If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to based. This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
