2. MOTION TO READ ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MILEAGE RATE Consider a motion to approve
first reading of Bill 1185, a proposed ordinance establishing and adopting the ad valorem tax millage rate
for the 2005 tax year. Discussion by Council or public shall be withheld until Public Hearing.
3. MOTION TO READ ORDINANCE ADOPTING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006
Consider a motion to approve first reading of Bill 1186, a proposed ordinance adopting the Budget for fiscal
year 2005-2006. Discussion by Council or public shall be withheld until Public Hearing.
4. PUBLIC HEARING ON AD VALOREM TAX ORDINANCE AND BUDGET ORDINANCE
• Statement of percentage increase in millage over the rolled-back rate
• Administration presents the proposed budget highlights, tentative millage rate, and Council's
consensus budget adjustment
• Village receives public comment on proposed tax and proposed budget
• Council consideration and discussion of budget amendments; decision to amend or maintain
tentative ad valorem tax millage rate
• Motion to amend tentative ad valorem tax millage rate and vote on 1st Reading of Bill 1185, a
proposed ordinance establishing and adopting the ad valorem tax millage rate for the 2005 tax year
• Announcement of Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. as date and time of final Public
Hearing on tax and budget
• Motion to approve amendments to the Budget for fiscal year 2005-2006 and vote on 1st Reading
of Bill 1186 a proposed ordinance adopting the Budget for fiscal year 2005-2006
