VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, 1993

Vice Mayor Vastola called the meeting to order at 9:45 p.m. All
members of Council were present except Mayor Marks, who was out of
town. All members of staff were present.
BILL 731 - RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
r„~ Discussion was held concerning Bill 731, a proposed ordinance
amending Section 18-35 of the Village Code of Ordinances,
restricting parking on residential property. During discussion, a
change was made to paragraph (2) wherein the exception for guest
parking will be five (5) days instead of three (3) days in any
fourteen (14) day period. Additionally, the phrase "and the street
right of way" will be deleted from paragraph (8). This will be
placed on the Regular Session agenda of November 9, 1993.
RESOLUTION ENDORSING FLORIDA LEAGUE OF CITIES EFFORTS CONCERNING
UNFUNDED FEDERAL MANDATES
Discussion took place concerning a proposed resolution supporting
and endorsing the efforts of the Florida League of Cities to
educate state and local government representatives and citizens
concerning the impact of federal mandates and the burdens they
place upon Florida's citizens. This resolution was forwarded the
to the Regular Session agenda of November 9, 1993.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 10:10 p.m.
