Mayor Marks called the meeting to order at 9:00 p.m. All members
of Council were present. All members of staff were present.
BILL 719 - APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR PURCHASE OF UNINTERRUPTIBLE
POWER SUPPLY MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
Discussion was held concerning Bill 719, a proposed ordinance
amending the North Palm Beach General Fund Budget for FY 1992-93,
to appropriate funds providing for purchase of uninterruptible
power supply maintenance agreement funded by Palm Beach County 911
System Enhancement Program in the amount of $2,505.00. This Bill
was forwarded to the Regular Session agenda of June 10, 1993.
PURCHASE OF WASHER AND DRYER FOR EMS
The Council discussed a request by Public Safety to purchase a
washer and. dryer in the amount of $535.00 from A6416-66490
(Machinery & Equipment) to satisfy OSHA requirements for cleaning
items in accordance with the Village's bloodborne pathogen policy.
This item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of June 10,
1993.
VILLAGE NEWSLETTER
Discussion was held concerning the Village Newsletter, and whether
,_., Country Club information should be included. Consensus was that the
Country Club should be treated the same as all other departments
and should be included. The additional cost involved will be
addressed during budget sessions. It was also the consensus of
Council that names of Council members and the positions they hold

should be listed in every newsletter so that residents know their
elected officials.
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting
adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
