MINUTES OF WORKSHOP SESSION

VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 1993

ROLL CALL
Mayor Pierman called the meeting to order at 9:20 p.m. All members
of Council were present. All members of staff were present.
BILL 705 - AMENDING GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR LEGAL SERVICES
Discussion was held concerning Bill 705, a proposed ordinance
amending the North Palm Beach General Fund Budget for Fiscal Year
1992-93 to appropriate funds for Special Legal Services and for the
Village Attorney. This item was forwarded to the Regular Session
agenda of January 28, 1993.
BILL 706 - AMENDING STORMWATER MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS
Discussion took place concerning amending the Village stormwater
management regulations as suggested by Village consultants. This
item will be placed on the Regular Session agenda of January 28,
1993.
BID AWARD FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY
Discussion was held concerning bids received for fireworks display
at the North Palm Beach Country Club for July 4, 1993. This item
was forwarded to the Regular Session of January 28, 1993. The
Village Manager was directed to check references of the low bidder
prior to the Regular Session.
ROAD CONDITIONS IN PLAT 4 OF THE VILLAGE
,..,. The Council discussed the condition of streets in Plat 4 of the
Village of North Palm Beach. This item was not forwarded for
action at this time, but will be discussed during the next budget
session.
Minutes of Workshop Session
Held Thursday, January 14, 1993
VILLAGE HALL SECURITY
Discussion was held concerning Chief Sekeres's list of needed
security measures. Further discussion will be held at the Workshop
Session of January 28, 1993.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 10:35 p.m.
