ROLL CALL

of Council were present. All members of staff were present.
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A MEMORIAL COMMITTEE
Discussion was held concerning a proposed resolution establishing
a policy regarding donations to the Village and establishing a
~, memorial committee to coordinate and facilitate the application of
funds donated in memory of a deceased family member or friend. The
Council added language to Section 1, Item 2, to read "the Mayor or
Council member designated by the Mayor". This item was forwarded
to the Regular Session agenda of December 8, 1994.
TENNIS PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT
Discussion was held concerning renewal of contract between the
Village of North Palm Beach and Frank "Buddy" Goeltz, Tennis
Professional, and the recommendations made by the Country Club
Administrative Board. The Council accepted the recommended changes
to the contract made by the Country Club Administrative Board, with
the exception of rent reduction to $1,200.00 annually, with monthly
installments of $100.00. The consensus of Council was that if the
Board wants to give Mr. Goeltz a raise, they could do that, but the
rent should not be lowered in lieu of a raise. The Council
suggested a raise equalling the same financial gain as would be
reached by lowering the rent payment. A budget amendment will also
be necessary taking the salary increase from Country Club
Contingency. This item will be placed on the Regular Session
agenda of December 8, 1994.
