ROLL CALL
Mayor Vastola called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. All members
of Council were present. All members of staff were present.
RESOLUTION - MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT
Discussion was held concerning a proposed resolution authorizing
~ the Mayor and Village Clerk to execute a statewide mutual aid
agreement to facilitate the Village's response capability to
natural disasters and emergencies. This resolution was forwarded
to the Regular Session agenda of October 27, 1994.
DONATIONS
The Village Council discussed setting a policy regarding donations
made to the Village. The Village Manager was directed to confer
with the Village Attorney and to draft an outline or a form which
would outline the basic policy of the Village in accepting
donations for various departments. This policy should include a
procedure for arbitration if a dispute arises regarding a donation,
i.e. resolution by Village Manager or ultimately the Village
Council. The Village Manager stated that special attention should
be given to memorial gifts, with the donors having a participatory
role in the decision. A policy and/or procedure for donations for
all departments will be brought back to the Council for review and
approval.
MUNICIPAL LEAGUE
Discussion took place concerning membership in the Palm Beach
County Municipal League. No action was taken on this item.
SHORELINE PROTECTION STUDY
The Shoreline Protection Study, completed in June 1994 by Lindahl,
Browning, Ferrari and Hellstrom, Inc., was referred to the Country
Club Administrative Board for review and recommendation. The

council requested that the Country Club Administrative Board send
it back to the Council in December.
BUDGET TRANSFER - COUNTRY CLUB RESTAURANT
No action was taken regarding a request to transfer $4,000 from
L8053-11210 (Restaurant-Regular Pay) to L8053-11300 (Restaurant-
Part-time Pay) for the purpose of balancing the year-end negative
line item, since the 1994-95 budget became effective October 1,
1994.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting
adjourned at 8:43 p.m.
