ROLL CALL
Vice Mayor Valente called the meeting to order at 8:42 p.m. All members of Council were
present except Mayor Marks, who was recovering from surgery, and Councilman Vastola,
,,,.-., who was out of town. All members of staff were present.
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT -AMBULANCE TRANSPORTATION
Lake Park Town Manager Terry Leary and Fire Chief Mike Wells were present for the
discussion with the Village Council regarding Lake Park's proposal to enter into an
Interlocal Agreement with North Palm Beach, wherein the Village would provide services
for Lake Park's proposed Advanced Life Support service. With the Village's new
ambulance transportation just getting underway, no action was taken on the Interlocal
Agreement at this time, but will be discussed again next year.
BILL 845 -PERMANENT WATER RESTRICTIONS
Discussion was held concerning Bill 845, a proposed ordinance to be known as the Water
and Irrigation Conservation Ordinance, which imposes permanent restrictions on
landscape irrigation. This was forwarded to the Regular Session agenda
of September 26, 1996.
STATUS REPORT - OSBORNE PARK CONCESSION STAND AND COMMUNITY
CENTER BALLFIELDS
,r... A status report was given by Public Services Director Tom Hogarth regarding the
concession stand project at Osborne Park and the fields at the North Palm Beach
Community Center. Mr. Hogarth reported that he would be forwarding the conceptual

plans for the proposed recreation building at Anchorage Park to the next Council
Workshop, along with the Osborne Park concession stand drawings and drawings for the
Community Center ballfield improvements.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at
9:20 p.m.
