all members voting aye, proposed Resolution #85 entitled
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
' OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, RENAMING "JAYBIE€D WAY
WEST" AS SHOWN ON PLAT #2, VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, AS AND TO BE "JACANA WAY"
was adopted.
On motion of Councilman Aiello, seconded by Vice-Mayor Young,
all members voting aye,_proposed Resolution #86 entitled
' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE _
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CON-
STRUCTION OF A CONCRETE BULKHEAD IN THE AREA KNOWN
AS THE NORTH PALM BEACH BOAT AREA, AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE TREASURER TO-MAKE PAYMENT _
THEREFOR.

all members voting aye, proposed Resolution #87 entitled
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE TO
BORROW THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
$5,500.00) IN ANTICIPATION OF RECEIPT OF TAXES TO BE
LEVIED FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1960.

all members voting aye, proposed Ordinance #52 entitled
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
' OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 1
OF ORDINANCE NO. 31 OF SUCH VILLAGE, PASSED FEBRUARY
25, 1958, AND ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE VIL~.AGE
COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
REGULATING THE BUILDING UP OF LAND UPON THE SUBMERGED
BOTTOMS IN LAKE WORTH AND THE TIDAL WATERS WITHIN THE
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF SAID VILLAGE; PROVIDING THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF BULKHEAD LINES WITHIN SUCH WATERS:
REGULATING DREDGING AND FILLING OPERATIONS WITH RE-
SPECT TO SAID BULKHEAD LINES: PROVIDING FOR THE SUB-
MISSION OF APPLICATIONS PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF
FILLING OR DREDGING OPERATIONS AND FOR THE FEES TO
BE PAID IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR THE

AND EXCAVATING OF STREETS, ALLEYS, SIDEWALKS AND
OTHER PUBLIC GROUNDS; REQUIRING A PERMIT THEREFOR
AND PAYMENT OF A FEE; REGULATING THE BACK-FILLING AND
RESURFACING OF EXCAVATIONS; IMPOSING REQUIREMENTS FOR
THE PROTECTION OF LIFE AND PROPERTY IN CONNECTION
WITH EXCAVATION WORK; AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOA
VIOLATIONS OF ITS PROVISIONS.

AMENDING OFF-STREET PARKING FOR R-3 ZONING DISTRICTS;
BY PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT --
HEREWITH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

• FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CLERK TO EXECUTE AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
VILLAGE OFFICERS TO DELIVER ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE,
A CERTAIN PROMISSORY NOTE AND MORTGAGE INCIDENT TO
THE PURCHASE BY THE VILLAGE OF THE VILLAGE HALL _
PROPERTY.

all members voting aye, proposed Ordinance #55 was approved as read.
On motion of Councilman Hahn, seconded by Vice-Mayor Young,
all members voting aye, the Village Attorney was ree{uested to prepare
an ordinance regulating the volume of outside noise of residential air-
conditioning units.
