VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH
HELD AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY
CLUB ocTOBER 27, 1959

Mayor White called the meeting to order and requested the Clerk call the roll. _
Mayor White requested the Clerk read the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village
Council held October 13, 1959• On motion of Councilman Young, seconded by Councilman Ross,
• all members voting aye, the minutes were approved as read.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Thomas, seconded by Councilman Ross, all members voting
aye, proposed Resolution X65 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLP.GE COUNCII, OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
PALtd BEACH COUNTY, FLORITYI, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO

was adopted.
On motion of Councilman Ross, seconded by Councilman Young, all members voting aye,
proposed Resolution X66 entitled:

' PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIIIA, AUTHORIZ]NG THE ESTABLISH[~NT OF A BANK
ACCOUNT FOR SAID VILLAGE, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN FUNDS

On motion of Councilman Young, seconded by Councilman Ross, all members voting aye,
proposed Resolution X67 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, RATIFYING AND APPROVING A BUDGET FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1959-1860; FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE RAISID BY AD
VALOREM TAXES FOR THE YEAR; AND FIXING THE AD VALORETQ TAX LEVY FOR THE

' Following the reading of proposed Ordinance #50, the matter of expanding the __
ordinance so as to place control over boat traffic on all waterways within the Village was
discussed. The Village Attorney was requested to rewrite the proposed Ordinance so as to
include control over boat traffic in all village waterways and present the ordinance at the
next meeting.
There being no further business to come before the Council, on motion of Councilman
Cunningham, seconded by Councilman Young, all members voting aye, the meeting was adjourned
at 9:10 p.m.
