PUBLIC HEARING AND 1ST READING OF AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE RATE ORDINANCE

AND BUDGET ORDINANCE
a. Attorney reads title of Ordinance 2011-16, establishing and adopting an ad valorem tax
millage rate for the fiscal year commencing 10/1/11 and ending 9/30/12.
b. Attorney reads title of Ordinance 2011-17, adopting a budget for the fiscal year commencing
10/1/11 and ending 9/30/12.
c. Motion to adopt Ordinance 2011-16 establishing the ad valorem tax millage rate on first reading.
d. Motion to adopt Ordinance 2011-17 adopting the Budget for fiscal year 2011-2012 on
first reading.
e. Staff presentation on both ad valorem tax millage rate and budget.
f. Open Public Hearing on both ad valorem tax millage rate and budget.
g. Public Comment.
h. Close Public Hearing on both ad valorem tax millage rate and budget.
i. Council discussion on both ad valorem tax millage rate and budget.
j. Council vote on tentative ad valorem tax millage rate.
k. Mayor publicly announces: (1) rolled back rate; (2) percentage decrease under rolled
back rate; (3) millage rate to be levied.
l. Council vote on motion to adopt Ordinance 2011-16 establishing the ad valorem tax millage
rate on first reading.
m. Council vote on motion to adopt Ordinance 2011-17 adopting the Budget for fiscal year
2011-2012 on first reading.

1ST READING OF ORDINANCE 2011-18 – REGULATION OF FIREARMS
2. Consider a
motion to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2011-18, a proposed ordinance repealing all
Village ordinances relating to the regulation of firearms and ammunition.

made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based(F.S. 286.0105). In accordance with

the Village Clerk’s office at 841-3355 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties
