BOATS, TRAILERS AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLE SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
After listening to statements from the public, both pro and con on this issue, discussion
was held concerning the recommendation of the Planning Commission that Council delete
the requirement for screening trailers, boats and recreational vehicles from the street, and
to consider allowable maximum size and length. Without a majority of Council willing to
change the screening requirements, no action will be taken.
LEASE RENEWAL NPBCC RESTAURANT
RECESS
The meeting recessed at 10:40 p.m., and reconvened at 10:45 p.m.
Discussion was held concerning a request by Laurie Zelnia of Zelnia, VanShaffelaar,
Price, Inc. to exercise one 3-year renewal option for Windows on the Green at the North
Palm Beach Country Club, with additional request of leaving the rent at the current
amount of $1,500 per month, instead of the option term rate of $2,500. Village Attorney
George Baldwin opined that the terms of the renewal option include a rent increase, and
any change in that would be an amendment to the lease. This item will be brought back
to the next workshop agenda on April 9, 1998.
ADJOURNMENT
Having reached the curfew of 11:00 p.m., the meeting adjourned.
