ROLL CALL
Mayor Eissey called the meeting to order at 10:01 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present.
BOAT MOORING REGULATIONS 1N LAKE WORTH
Continued discussion was held concerning a proposed amendment to Section 5-85(12) of the
Village Code regulating boat mooring buoys in Lake Worth. The Council remanded this issue
back to the Planning Commission, with the request for the following considerations: 1) mooring
anchors, if used, are to be 100 feet (maximum) from the bulkhead; 2) mooring anchors to be on
the line parallel to the bulkhead to control the swing of the boat; 3) moored vessels to always be
inside the side property lines extended, and 4) no live-aboards are allowed.
By consensus and with no discussion due to approaching curfew, the following items were
moved forward to the next Regular Session agenda of January 13, 2000:
Budget Transfer for Laser Radar Purchase -Public Safety Department
Budget Transfer -Software -Fire Division
PBC Recreation Grant for Batting Cages
Equipment Lease Purchase - Wachovia Bank proposal
Emergency telephones at NPBCC Golf Course
The remaining agenda items will be brought back to the Workshop Agenda of January 13, 2000,
