11-26-2001 VC SP WS-MMINUTES OF THE SPECIAL WORKSHOP OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2001 Present: David B. Norris, Mayor Dr. Edward M. Eissey, Vice Mayor Donald G. Noel, President Pro Tem Charles R. O'Meilia, Councilman Dennis W. Kelly, Village Manager Kathleen F. Kelly, CMC, Village Clerk Absent: ROLL CALL Joseph A. Tringali, Councilman George W. Baldwin, Village Attorney The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of the Council were present except Councilman Tringali, who was out of town. All members of staff were present except Village Attorney George Baldwin. PURPOSE OF THE MEETING The purpose of the meeting was to review the proposed audio visual systems plan for the renovated Village Hall, as presented by Tim Hullihan of BEA, Inc. Present also was Craig Stepp, a consultant for audio-visual systems. Mr. Hullihan presented an overview and budget projections, cut sheets, technical specifications, and an equipment location diagram. The consensus of Council was to have a monitor in the lobby of the Council Chambers, but delete the one in the Conference Room. Mr. Hullihan was directed to calculate the various sizes needed for both projection and plasma screens and bring back corresponding prices, particularly for a plasma screen larger than 61 inches. This will be brought back under the Manager's Report at the December 13, 2001 Regular Session.
