VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Dr. Edward M. Eissey, Vice Mayor
Mayor Noel called the meeting to order at 9:00 p.m. All members of Council were present,
except Dr. Eissey, who had a meeting conflict. All members of staff were present.
COUNTRY CLUB OPERATIONS
Mr. Bates reported on the pool, tennis, and restaurant contracts at the North Palm Beach Country
Club, which are due to expire September 30, 2005. Mr. Bates discussed contractual issues
including performance reviews, administrative oversight and vendor accountability.
FLORIDA LEAGUE OF CITIES 2005 LEGISLATIVE ACTION AGENDA
Discussion took place concerning a request by the Florida League of Cities for consideration and
support of the League's legislative priorities, including growth management issues. Consensus
of Council was to bring forward a resolution supporting the legislative priorities of the Florida
League of Cities at its next regular session on February 24, 2005.
COUNCIL MATTERS
President Pro Tem O'Meilia reported that the Board of County Commissioners is considering a
countywide towing ordinance, which will apply to all municipalities, as well as the County,
unless a municipality opts out. President Pro Tem O'Meilia will provide information for the
Village Manager's review regarding another proposed countywide ordinance concerning moving.
President Pro Tem O'Meilia gave a brief update on the annexation lawsuit.

With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
