ROLL CALL
Mayor Eissey called the meeting to order at 10:00 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present.
TERM LIMITS FOR VILLAGE BOARDS
Discussion took place concerning term limits for Village boards or increasing the membership on
certain boards. Staff was requested to research what procedures other municipalities follow with
regard to volunteer boards.
50TH ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE
Mayor Eissey reported on the 5/11/OS meeting of the 50th Anniversary Committee, at which
there was unanimous agreement that an increase in the number of appointed members was not
necessary, however, the Committee requested that Council allow them to utilize additional
volunteers, as needed, on subcommittees. Council consensus was to accept the recommendation
of the 50th Anniversary Committee.
COUNCIL MATTERS
Brief discussion took place on the status of the ramp and landscaping at Village Hall, and on
hurricane preparedness.
VILLAGE MANAGER MATTERS
Mr. Bates presented amid-year review of the Country Club and General Fund budgets. It was
requested that a more detailed discussion of the Country Club budget be held at an upcoming
workshop session.

Thursday, May 12, 2005
Assistant Village Manager Doug Smith gave an update on the schedule for the health insurance
program review. Mr. Smith advised that the current contract expires at the end of June.
__ Mr. Smith asked Council to consider and select the Village's health insurance program for the
upcoming year by the end of May, in order to allow the month of June for open enrollment by
Village employees, if there is a change in the plan. Council consensus was to hold a Special
Workshop meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2005 to review health insurance, and select
a health insurance plan at its Regular Session on May 26, 2005.

With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 10:10 p.m.
