2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2011-05 – NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD OVERLAY
1.
ZONING DISTRICT
Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance
2011-05, a proposed ordinance extending the compliance date for non-conforming
landscaping and signs within the Northlake Boulevard Overlay Zoning District (NBOZ) as an
accommodation to the business community consistent with the extension proposed by the City of
Palm Beach Gardens.

2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2011-06 – VILLAGE MANAGER RESIDENCY

REQUIREMENT
Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2011-06,
a proposed ordinance amending Section 2-115, “Residency,” of Chapter 2, Article IV of the
Code of Ordinances to allow a majority of the members of the Village Council to waive the
requirement that the Village Manager attain and retain Village residence during the period of
his appointment.

REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading
Ordinance 2011-07, a proposed ordinance amending the 2010-2011 General Fund Budget to
appropriate $270,819.00 to fund the replacement of Village street and stop signs.
ACTION
D. CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro-forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

RESOLUTION – CONTRACT FOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF STREET SIGNS

Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution accepting the bid of
The Baron Group, Inc. d/b/a Baron Sign Manufacturing for the removal and replacement of
street signs and stop signs at a cost not to exceed $246,198.06, and authorizing execution of
a contract.

2. Consider a motion
to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing a minor modification to the Shoppes at City Centre
planned unit development to clarify and correct waivers for two signs.

If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting,
he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is
made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based(F.S. 286.0105). In accordance with
the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person who may require special accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact
the Village Clerk’s office at 841-3355 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties
