A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF GENERATION GREEN, INC., PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,388 FOR WEEKLY LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE FOR
LANDSCAPING ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 1 AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB
AND AROUND THE CLUBHOUSE, FUNDS TO BE EXPENDED FROM L8059-33491
(CONTRACTUAL SERVICES).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Generation Green, Inc., Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, in the amount of
$20,388 for weekly landscaping maintenance for landscaping along U.S. Highway 1 at the North Palm
Beach Country Club and around the Clubhouse, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution, is
hereby accepted by the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, in accordance with its terms. The
appropriate Village officials are hereby directed to advise said bidder of this acceptance. The monies
are to be expended from L8059-33491 (Contractual Services).
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 13th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2003.

US 1 /CLUBHOUSE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
L Contractor shall famish all materials, equipment, and labor to perform the work described
in the following specifications:
II. Mow all grassy areas every two weeks, October through April, and every week, May
through September. Weedeat azeas mowers cannot operate in, and edge all walks and
medians. All grass clippings shall be removed from sidewalks, roadways, and medians,
etc. each mowing.
I12 36 visits per year minimum. May be necessary to mow weekly during warmer winter
months.
IV. Trim all hedges and shrubs once (1) per month. Edge around all planter beds and trees
once (1) per month. Weed all beds as needed. Remove all clippings and weeds
from job site.
V. Maintain shade trees and palms in common areas to a height of ten (10) feet from
ground
VL Fertilize three (3) times per year all grassy areas with a 29-2-5 with Durban for
insect control, 17-4-6 with atrazine for weed control. Trees, shrubs, and palms
will be included in bid amount
VII. Extensive trimming of bushes and hauling debris off site is included in bid.
VIII. Replacement of sod, trees, shrubs will be included if it is deemed that contractor
was negligent.
1X. Any sprinklers broken by contractor shall be replaced.
X. Work shall be performed on any day of the week except Saturday or Sunday and
not before 7:00 A.M.
XL If a continuing negligence of contract persists after verbal and written warnings to
contractor, the contract will be terminated.
XII. The initial contract will be for a period of one (1) year. If contractor satisfies the
terms of the contract consistently, a continuance of two (2) years at one (1) year
each will be provided.
XHL Contractor shall possess a mandatory Village Work Permit.
