ROLL CALL
Mayor Eissey called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of Council were present
except President Pro Tem David Norris. Acting Village Manager Doug Smith and Village Clerk
Kathleen Kelly were present.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING
The Special Session was called to constitute the Village Council as the official General Election
Canvassing Boazd for the purpose of canvassing the vote of March 11, 2003, in accordance with
Section 10-11 of the Village Code.
COMPUTER PRINTOUT INSPECTED
The Council inspected the computer printouts containing the election returns prepazed by Theresa
LePore, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections.
TOTAL COUNT OF BALLOTS CAST
The total count of ballots cast, including absentee ballots, in the General Election of March 11,
2003, was 1,252.

RESOLUTION 14-2003 ADOPTED -DECLARING ELECTION RESULTS
By consensus, the Council agreed to dispense with the full reading of Resolution 14-2003.
President Pro Tem Tringali moved that Resolution 14-2003 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 11, 2003

be adopted. Vice Mayor Noel seconded the motion, and all present voted aye.
OATHS OF OFFICE ADMINISTERED
The Village Cleric administered the Oaths of Office to re-elected Councilman Charles R. O'Meilia
and Councilman David B Norris; copies of said oaths being attached to the official Minutes of
Record.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
