OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2003

ROLL CALL
Mayor Norris called the Special Session to order at 5:30 p.m. All members of Council were present
except Councilman Eissey, who was out of town, and Councilman Noel, who had a meeting conflict.
All members of staff were present.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING
The Special Meeting was called as a result of the notification by the Code Enforcement Board, which
had determined that a threat exists to the public health, safety and welfare at 828 Dogwood Road,. where
violations include torn screens around a swimming pool and fencing which is falling down.
Additionally, the pool enclosure does not include working self-closing or self-latching doors.
President Pro Tem Tringali moved to direct the Public Services Department to take emergency
corrective action on existing violations at 828 Dogwood Road, North Palm Beach, which have been
determined to be a threat to the public health, safety and welfare. Vice Mayor O'Meilia seconded the
motion.
During discussion, the Council agreed by consensus that the Public Services Department shall fix the
screen enclosure as well as sections of fencing and the self-closing and self-latching doors.
Thereafter, the motion passed 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the C/ouncil, the meeting adjourned at 5.45 p.m.
