TENNIS
I. GENERAL RULES
a. All members and guests must register in the Pro Shop prior to playing.
b. All fees are to be paid in advance. Members are responsible for payment of guest fees.
c. Court times are reserved not courts, all court assigimlents are at the discretion of the Pro
Shop staff.
d. Decisions on unscheduled closing due to inclement weather, or other situations where use
aught damage courts, will be made at the discretion of the Tennis Supervisor.
e. All players must wear appropriate temiis attire and smooth-soled tennis shoes.
f. Players must leave a court promptly when their assigned time has expired and others are
waiting. If players wish to play longer they must check with the staff to see if a court is
available.
g. Approved scheduled activities have priority over other play.
h. Intentional or flagrant violation of the court rules of temus etiquette, or actions
detrimental to the tennis operation (e.g. obnoxious behavior, profanity, intoxication,
damage to coLU-ts, etc.) will be cause for inmlediate removal of the offender from the
courts, with the possibility of further disciplinary action
i. Special Events must be scheduled with the Temus Supervisor.
j. Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:45a.m.-7:OOp.m., Friday 7:45a.m.-5:30p.m, Saturday
7:45a.m.-1:00p.m., Sunday 8:OOa.m.-12 noon.
Tennis & More Pro Shop Hours: Monday- Friday 9:30a.m.-5:30p.m., Saturday
9:30a.m.-1:OOp.m. Sunday-Closed.
Court Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:OOa.m.-10:00p.m. Friday-Sunday 8:OOa.m. to dark.
Monday-Sunday 1:30p.m-3:30p.m. Courts are closed for watering. Friday-Sunday Lights
will be set for members with a reservation.

IL RESERVATIONS ANll STARTING TIMES
a. Temiis members may reserve a tennis court up to seven (7) days in advance. Non-
members may reserve a tennis court on the day of play.
b. The reserving member or court captain is responsible for others.
c. The reserving member must be a part of the group for which the court time is reserved.
Reserving courts for others is not allowed.
d. Singles may play for one (1) hour and doubles one and half hours (1 ''/z).
e. Failure to show up on time automatically forfeits a reservation; i.e. the full party must be
on the court within Fifteen (1 S) minutes of the reserved time when others are waiting.
f. Players are to inform staff of any changes to the reservation (e.g. cancellation, additional
guests, and doubles-to-singles). Each person using the courts should do lus or her part to
make this time a pleasant experience for everyone. In particular, players are expected to
observe the following "good neighbor" rules of tennis etiquette.

a. Crossing Courts
1. Never enter another's court while play is in progress.
2. When one must cross another's court, wait until a point is completed, excuse one
self, and then cross quickly by the shortest, most direct route. If the match in
progress is part of a tournament or inter-club team match, it is best to wait for a
change of sides before crossing.
3. Pairs or groups should cross together, to avoid prolonged or repeated
interruptions of play.
4. When changing ends between games, players should do so at the end of the net
away from the adjacent court.
b. Stray Balls
1. Before requesting the return of a sri-ay ball, wait until any point in progress on the
adjacent court is finished.

2. Retuni neighbor's stray balls promptly; preferably before the beginning of the
next point, sending them on one bounce to the player who requests them.
3. Use no more than three (3) balls when the adjacent court is in use.
4. Ball hoppers may be used only when adjacent court is open and with permission
of tennis staff.
c. Noise
1. Refrain from any loud noise, whether exclamation, conversation, or the clatter of
equipment, as it may distract those on nearby courts.
d. Claimin Courts
1. Always wait until any point in progress is completed before claiming an assigned
court.
Make tennis fun for everyone by using good judgment, common sense, and being
courteous at all times.
SWIIVIMING POOL
I. GENERAL RULES
a. All persons who wish to use either pool must first take a hot soap shower before
entering.
b. Persons with skin rashes, open soars, or inflamed eyes will not be permitted in the
pool.
c. No rarming and/or rough play will be permitted in the pool area or locker rooms.
d. Divers must dive or jump straight out from the end of diving boards and/or towers.
e. The 3-meter boards and the 5-, 7 '/Z -and 10 meter towers will be used only under the
immediate supervision of a lifeguard.
f. No diving is permitted in the shallow portion of the pool, unless permitted under the
innnediate supervision of a lifeguard or during competition practices and events.
