A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO ENTER INTO
A LETTER AGREEMENT WITH D. WILLIAM BEEBE, ARCHITECT, ATTACHED AS
EXHIBIT "A", WHICH AGREEMENT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE VILLAGE SECURING
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES, INCLUSIVE OF PREPARATION OF DESIGN PLANS,
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS AND CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISION, FOR THE
MODIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO THE OSBORNE PARK RECREATION BUILDING
LOCATED WITHIN THE VILLAGE; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby
approve the letter agreement with D. William Beebe, architect, attached as Exhibit "A", which
agreement is for the purpose of the Village securing architectural services, inclusive of
preparation of design plans, construction documents and construction site supervision, for the
modifications and additions to the Osborne Park recreation building located within the Village.
Section 2. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
letter agreement set forth in Exhibit "A" for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

Architectural Agreement ~
Dear Ms. Frazell:
The purpose of this letter is for same to serve as the Owner/Architect Agreement to
complete the construction documents and provide additional services noted for the
modifications and additions to the Osborne park Recreation Building located on Prosperity
Farms Road in Osborne Park per approved preliminary and conceptual plans.
Scope Of Work to include all meetings, conferences, research, design, construction
documents and site supervision. The fee includes atl civil aspects including sewer, water,
etc. and an Allowance of $1,500 for surveying required to locate the Recreation Building
and proposed Restroom Building.
It is our understanding that the Restroom Building will be free-standing and will be site
constructed.
Documents listed will be completed within thirty (30) days after acceptance of this proposal
and receipt of the stated retainer.
Total Fee will be based on 6% of construction cost not to exceed Eleven Thousand, Five
Hundred and no/100 ($11,500.00) dollars. Fee to be paid as follows:
Retainer due when Agreement is signed $ 1,500
Due when construction documents are complete 5,000
Due when price is established 2,700'
Due monthly at same %age as Contractor Requisition 2 300
TOTAL MAXIMUM FEE $ 11,500'
• Amount adjusted, if required, should 6% of construction cost be less than
the quoted maximum.

If the Owner elects to delay either bidding or constructing the project in excess of sixty (60)
days after completion of documents making the %age calculation impossible, the Architect
will be paid based on the above breakdown or a total of $9,200.
If the Scope of Work is changed or added to requiring revisions to drawings or additional
services, same will be charged at the rate of $125 per hour for Architect, $75 per hour for
drafting.
The Architect will furnish twelve (12) sets of documents and an Electronic File (CAD).
Additional sets will be billed at cost.
If this meets with your approval, please sign and return one (1) copy to my office prior to
services being rendered.
