Ordinance 1977-014 Adopts Standard Housing Code 1976 Edition with 1977 Revision1 ORDINANCE N0. 14-77 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, 1 FLORIDA, ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE STANDARD HOUSING CODE, 1976 EDITION WITH THE 1977 REVISION AS THE HOUSING CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEAC}{, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Village of North Palm Beach Code is hereby amended by adding thereto Sections 19,3-11 and 19.3-12, which said sections shall read as follows: "Section 19.3-11. ADOPTED BY REFERENCE --- Under the authority of Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, the Village of North Palm Beach hereby adopts by reference thereto, the Standard Housing Code, 1976 Edition with the 1977 Revision, for the Village. There has been for at east ten days last past and shall be during the time that this Code is in effect, three copies of such code kept available for public use, inspection and examination. 1 Section 19.3-12, AMENDMENTS --- The following amendments, corrections, and additions to said Code adopted in Sec. 19.3-11 are hereby made and adopted; said amendments, corrections and additions being set forth herein with reference to and pre- faced by the Section number and title of said Code, as follows: Section 106.1 - APPOINTMENT is hereby amended to read as follows: There is hereby created by the Village Council a Board to be known as the Housing Board of Adjust- ments and Appeals. The Village Board of Adjust- ment authorized by Chapter 45 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code shall act as the }lousing Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Section 106.2 - MEETINGS is hereby amended to read as follows: 1 The Board shall hold meetings in the same manner as the Village Board of Adjustment does in accordance with Chapter 45 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code. Section 302,4 is hereby amended by deleting all references to the word "bedroom." Section 304.13 - SCREENS. Delete entire section. Section 304.15 - ACCESSORY STRUCTURES is hereby amended to read as follows: "Garages, storage buildings, docks, piers, boat hoists, dolphin poles, bulkheads, swimming pools, screen enclosures, fences, walls, driveways, and other accessory structures shall be maintained and kept in good repair and sound structural con- dition." Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage. PLACED ON FIRST READING THIS 23 DAY OF JUNE, 1977. PLACED ON SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSED. THIS 14 DAY OF JULY, 1977.
